Inspired by the ingenuity behind Florence’s “Il Duomo,” Argano was founded to help businesses transform their operations and achieve sustainable growth. The Ask

My client requested a custom iconographic system that not only aligns with their brand identity but is versatile enough to be applied across various platforms, including web, ebooks, and environmental design. The goal was to create a cohesive visual language that enhances user experience while maintaining consistency across all mediums.

The Approach

My approach was to develop a custom icon system based on an 8pt grid, using four keyline shapes—circle, square, vertical, and horizontal rectangles. This system ensures that the icons maintain their stroke quality and clarity across different sizes. Compared to the stock icons previously used, I focused on reducing visual clutter, optimizing optical volume, and incorporating direct, modern metaphors. Now, all icons belong to a cohesive, uniform system that aligns with the brand and works seamlessly across various applications.
